After care of your tree
We take delivery of all of the trees at once and they are all cut at the same time.  If you choose and take your tree home late November, early December, it is a good idea to keep your tree outside for as long as possible in order to help it retain its freshness.

Caring for your tree - We advise that you to cut about 1cm off the bottom of your tree and put it in a stand that will hold water.  Water your tree as often as needed in order to retain its freshness once inside - please also try not to place the tree near any heat sources.

Please email us freeman.manselfarm@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Many thanks

Pete and Sarah Freeman

Background:

As December is often a quieter month for farming, as part of our diversification we started to sell Christmas trees.  We have used the same supplier for the last 18 years. Having built a successful clientele from Histon and beyond who return each year for another fabulous Nordman “non drop” tree. We have also introduced other items of produce for sale, wreaths, potatoes from the Fens our eggs and in 2018 we sold some squashes we had left from our harvest in October, unfortunately we have not had a successful harvest of squash this year due to the weather conditions being too hot during peak growing times.
